Every piece is one piece

Almost everything here exists once. A piece shown on the site may have been sold between your seeing it and your writing to us, and an order is not agreed until we confirm we still have it. Nothing on the site is an offer that binds us to sell.

What the photographs promise

They promise the piece, not the exact shade. Screens differ, daylight differs, and natural dye differs from lot to lot by design. We describe colour as honestly as we can and will show you the cloth on video before you commit. See the concierge page. Once you have seen it that way, what you saw is what ships.

Prices

The rupee is the currency of record. Every other currency on the site is worked out from a rate we set by hand and is shown as an approximation. It is there so you know roughly what you are spending, not as the sum that will leave your account. What you actually pay is the rupee price, converted by your own bank or card at their rate on the day.

Prices can change. The price we confirm to you is the price you pay.

Paying

No payment is taken on this website. Within India, payment is usually by UPI or bank transfer arranged over WhatsApp. From elsewhere, we send a payment link. A piece is not reserved until payment is made, unless we have said we are holding it for you.

Shipping and duty

We ship worldwide. Import duty, customs charges and any local tax are set by your country and are payable by you at delivery. They are not included in the price and we cannot tell you the exact figure in advance, though we will tell you what it usually comes to for where you live. Delivery times are estimates and customs is outside our control.

Returns

There are none. Every sale is final: no returns, no exchanges and no refunds, for any reason. Set out in full, with what we do beforehand so that it is never a surprise, on the returns page.

Care

Handloom and natural dye want dry-cleaning or a careful cold hand-wash on their own, away from direct sun. Some bleeding on a first wash is normal for natural dye and is not a fault. Ask us about a specific piece and we will tell you exactly how to treat it.

The words and pictures on this site

The photography and writing here are ours. Please do not reuse them commercially without asking. Ask, and we will usually say yes.

If something goes wrong

Tell us first. Nearly everything is settled in a conversation. Failing that, these terms are governed by Indian law and by the courts of Andhra Pradesh.
